LINEA MicroPerforated Panels

LINEA MicroPerforated panels for walls or ceilings combine the natural beauty of wood with exceptional acoustical performance as the sound is absorbed through the micro–perforated wood veneer face. The nearly invisible 0.5mm or 1mm diameter perforations go unnoticed at normal viewing distances and provide a solid looking appearance. These high–end MicroPerforated panels can be manufactured flat or curved and are installed using various industry standard suspension methods. Panels are available in standard or custom sizes up to 4’ Wide and 10’ Long. MicroPerforation can be incorporated into many existing LINEA product types such as, Veneer Flat Panels, Planks, Continuous Planks, Tongue & Groove, Wood Accent Beams, Reflectors and more

ACOUSTICS: LINEA MicroPerforated Panels come standard with acoustic fleece backing for enhanced sound absorption (excluding Non-Perforated). When paired with acoustical insulation or duct liner behind, LINEA Veneer Flat Panels can achieve high NRC Ratings up to 1.00. Generally, the higher the open area percentage the greater the sound attenuation.
FIRE RATING: Veneer/Composite LINEA MicroPerforated Panels with real wood or engineered wood veneers are laminated to Class A Fire Rated, recycled, MDF cores. The combination of Wood Veneer and Finish is less than 1mm thick (0.5mm in most cases) and therefore should not be considered significant to the overall rating (per AWI/AWMAC).
SITE CONDITIONS: Wood products are hygroscopic in nature and must be stored, installed & maintained in a controlled building environment. Temperature range should be maintained between 60° – 90° F (15° – 32°C). Relative Humidity range should be kept within a minimum 25% – max. 55% (not to exceed 20% RH from peaks to valleys).
